State lending limits and regulatory compliance across every True Link Finance market

Consumer lending is licensed state by state, so the amounts, terms, and maximum rates available to you are set by your state's usury and small-loan statutes. Our $200 to $5,000 range and 3 to 24 month terms are offered only within those thresholds. Select your state to see its specific limits and our license number there.

Money in my account the next business day

I signed on a Thursday evening and didn't expect much before the weekend. The money was in my checking account Friday morning. Covered my transmission repair without draining what little savings I had. The monthly payment matched the offer exactly.

Approved with a credit score I was not proud of

My score was sitting around 580 after a rough couple of years, so I expected a flat no. They looked at my income and payment history instead. Got approved for $400 over six months. Payments were manageable and I didn't miss a single one.

No hidden fees, and the APR matched the offer exactly

I've been caught by origination fees before — money promised, less money deposited. Here the full $2,500 hit my account, nothing deducted. The monthly draft was identical to the number in the offer, twelve months in a row. That consistency matters more than people realize.

The online application took about five minutes

Filled out the form on my phone during a lunch break. No documents to upload, no waiting around for a callback. The soft credit check didn't move my score. I had a real offer with a real APR in front of me in under ten minutes.

They moved my due date when my hours were cut

My hours got cut mid-loan and the 15th stopped working for me. Called and asked to move the due date to the 28th. They did it without a fee for the remaining payments. I'll take a star off because it took two calls to reach someone, but the outcome was fair.

Paid it off early and the interest stopped

Used payday loans before and always felt like I was just rolling the problem forward. Set this one up for 24 months on $3,500, then paid it off at month 14 when things improved. No penalty, interest just stopped. That's the difference — there's actually an exit.

Common borrowing questions about True Link Finance loans

Eligibility, credit impact, deposit timing, and repayment, answered plainly. Checking your rate carries no obligation and no effect on your score.

Who is eligible to borrow?

You need to be 18 or older, a U.S. resident in a state we serve, with a regular source of income from work, self-employment, or benefits, an active checking account, and a valid email and mobile number. Approval also depends on income verification and credit review, and is never guaranteed. Full details are on our eligibility page.

How much can I borrow?

Loan amounts range from $200 to $5,000, within your state's legal limits. What you qualify for depends on your income, existing obligations, and credit profile. First-time borrowers are often approved for smaller amounts, with larger amounts available once you have a repayment history with us.

Will checking my rate affect my credit score?

No. A rate check uses a soft credit inquiry, which is visible only to you and never affects your score. A hard inquiry is recorded on your credit report and can shave a few points temporarily, and it happens only if you accept an offer and move to signing.

How soon will the money reach my bank?

Approved loans are sent by electronic transfer as soon as the next business day after you e-sign. Applications completed late in the day, on weekends, or on bank holidays may take one additional business day, and your own bank's posting times apply.

How do I repay, and can I pay early?

You repay in equal monthly payments, by autopay or manually, on a due date you choose. There is no prepayment penalty, so paying ahead reduces your total finance charge. Options for changing a due date or setting up autopay are covered under managing your loan.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Contact us before the due date if a payment will be late; we can usually move a due date once per loan. After a 10-day grace period a $15 late fee applies, and missed payments may be reported to the credit bureaus. We never roll your loan into a new one or add fees you were not shown.

Is this a payday loan?

No. A payday loan is typically due in full on your next payday and is often rolled over with new fees. A TrueLink loan is an installment loan: the payment is fixed, the term is 3 to 24 months, and the balance only goes down.

Will you contact my employer or my family?

We verify income through documents or a read-only bank connection, not by calling your workplace. We communicate only with you about your loan, and we follow the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in every contact.

Legal disclosures and lending transparency

Who you are borrowing from

True Link Finance operates as a . Loans are made by , NMLS ID , licensed in each state where we operate. If we act as a connection service in your state, we do not make credit decisions or fund loans, and the lender matched to you sets its own rates and terms. Short-term credit is expensive credit

Loans in this range carry high APRs relative to secured credit and are built for short-term needs, not long-term borrowing. Repeatedly taking new loans to cover old ones leads to a debt cycle that costs far more than the original shortfall. Free help is available from a nonprofit counsellor through the NFCC at nfcc.org, and from the CFPB at consumerfinance.gov. Our responsible lending policy sets out who we decline and why.

Soft pre-qualification vs lender credit inquiry

A rate check on this site is a soft inquiry used to pre-qualify you, and it does not affect your credit score. It is not a guarantee of approval. Completing an application authorises a hard credit inquiry with one or more bureaus, which is recorded on your report and may lower your score temporarily.
