Who makes the decisions here

Lending is a business of judgement calls: where to draw the credit line, what to do when someone's hours get cut, whether a rate is defensible. Those calls are made by named people with accountability for them, not by an anonymous committee. Everyone below can be reached through [email protected].

Chief Executive Officer

Oversees lending strategy, regulatory relationships, and company direction. Responsible for all executive decisions and the overall compliance posture of True Link Finance.

Chief Compliance Officer

Manages state licensing, ECOA and TILA compliance, and the complaints and audit programme. Every content page on this site is reviewed through this office before publication.

Head of Credit

Owns the written credit policy, the affordability test applied at underwriting, and the decline reason codes used in adverse action notices.

Head of Servicing

Responsible for customer support, due-date changes, hardship arrangements, and FDCPA compliance in every customer contact after funding.

The credit committee

Pricing, the affordability threshold, and any change to who we approve are decided by a credit committee rather than by one person. It meets [monthly] and includes the Head of Credit, the Chief Compliance Officer, and the Chief Executive Officer. Minutes are retained and any change to published rates triggers a review of every rate table on this site under our editorial policy.

Who writes and reviews this site

Pages that state a rate, a fee, an eligibility rule, or a legal obligation are reviewed by the Chief Compliance Officer before publication and at least quarterly afterwards. Educational articles are written by and reviewed by the Head of Credit for accuracy. Every page that carries figures shows a last-reviewed date and the name of the reviewer.

A note on credentials

We only publish qualifications that can be verified: licence numbers, registration records, and named previous employers. If a bio here cannot be checked against a public record or a professional profile, it should not be on the page.
