Our commitment to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, what we have built, known gaps, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Our commitment

True Link Finance is committed to making this website accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Measures we have taken

  • Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements — menus, forms, sliders, accordions — are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone, with visible focus rings.
  • Screen reader support. Pages carry semantic heading structure (one H1 per page, logical H2 hierarchy), ARIA labels on interactive components, and alt text on all meaningful images.
  • Colour contrast. Text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
  • Reduced motion. All CSS animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query and are disabled when the user has enabled this system preference.
  • Responsive design. The site is usable at any viewport width and with browser zoom up to 200%.
  • Form error handling. Form errors are communicated by both colour and text, and are associated with their fields programmatically so screen readers announce them.

Known limitations

The application form on the apply page is served by a third-party provider. We have requested that the provider meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we monitor it, but we cannot guarantee full conformance for that component. If you experience difficulty, please contact us and we will assist you by telephone.

The interactive loan calculators use range sliders and number inputs. These are keyboard-operable, but some screen reader combinations may announce them differently. We will improve this in future updates.

Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, the US Department of Justice publishes guidance on filing an ADA complaint at ada.gov, and the Section 508 programme is overseen by the US Access Board at access-board.gov.

Technical specification

This website is built in HTML5 with CSS. It does not use Flash or any other deprecated technology. The conformance target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
