Rates by loan size
Our representative APR is set by the size of the loan. There is no origination fee and no application fee, so the interest rate and the APR are the same number on our pricing. Autopay reduces the APR by 0.25 percentage points for the life of the loan.
| Loan amount | Available terms | Representative APR | With autopay |
|---|---|---|---|
| $200 to $499 | 3 or 6 months | 35.90% | 35.65% |
| $500 to $1,999 | 6 or 12 months | 29.90% | 29.65% |
| $2,000 to $5,000 | 12, 18, or 24 months | 22.90% | 22.65% |
Rates are fixed for the full term. The APR set on the day you sign applies to every payment, and there is no penalty rate for a missed payment. Why smaller loans price higher is explained on the interest rates page.
The complete fee schedule
| Fee | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Application fee | $0 | Never charged |
| Origination fee | $0 | Never charged. The approved amount is the deposited amount |
| Prepayment penalty | $0 | Never charged. Paying early reduces your interest |
| Expedited funding fee | $0 | Never charged |
| Statement or document fee | $0 | Never charged |
| Late payment fee | $15 | Once per missed payment, only after a 10-day grace period |
| Returned payment fee | $15 | If a scheduled payment is returned unpaid by your bank |
Fee amounts are capped by state law and may be lower where a state requires it. Some states prohibit one or both of the two fees above entirely. Your loan agreement states the amounts that apply to you.
Two fees, both avoidable
The only charges on this page beyond interest apply when a payment is missed or returned. Autopay removes most of that risk, and it lowers your APR at the same time. If you know a payment will be late, call before the due date and we can usually move it once at no cost.
What each figure means
- Amount financed. What you receive. Because we charge no origination fee, it equals the amount approved.
- Finance charge. The total dollar cost of the credit over the full term.
- Total of payments. Amount financed plus finance charge, which is what you repay in total.
- APR. The yearly cost expressed as a percentage, including any required fees.
All four appear in the Truth in Lending disclosure inside your loan agreement, before you sign. There is nothing in the agreement that is not on this page.

State variations
Consumer lending is licensed state by state, and several states cap rates or fees below our standard schedule. Where a state's cap is lower, the cap applies rather than the figures above. Maximum amounts and permitted terms also vary. Check state lending limits for where you live.
Military borrowers
Covered members of the armed forces and their dependents receive the protections of the Military Lending Act, including the 36% Military Annual Percentage Rate cap. Where that cap is lower than the rate we would otherwise offer, the cap applies.

Questions about rates and fees
What can be charged, what never is, and how state rules change the picture.
Is there an origination fee?
No. There is no origination fee, no application fee, and no expedited funding fee. The amount you are approved for is the amount deposited into your account.
What fees can I actually be charged?
Only two beyond interest: a $15 late fee, applied once per missed payment and only after a 10-day grace period, and a $15 returned payment fee if your bank rejects a scheduled payment. Both are capped by state law and may be lower or prohibited where you live.
Is there a penalty for paying early?
No. Interest accrues on the outstanding balance, so paying ahead removes interest that has not yet accrued and reduces your total cost.
Are the rates fixed?
Yes. The APR set on the day you sign applies for the whole term. The payment never changes and there is no penalty rate for a missed payment.
How does the autopay discount work?
Enrolling in automatic monthly payments reduces your APR by 0.25 percentage points for the life of the loan. You can cancel it in writing at any time, at which point the standard rate applies to remaining payments.
Do the rates differ by state?
They can. Several states cap rates or fees below our standard schedule, and where that happens the state cap applies. Maximum amounts and permitted terms also vary by state.
