Who holds the licence
Loans are originated by , a registered at . Our Nationwide Multistate Licensing System identifier is NMLS ID .
You can verify that record yourself, and you should. Search our NMLS ID at the NMLS Consumer Access site, which shows every licence we hold, its status, and any regulatory action taken against us. A lender that will not give you its NMLS number is not a lender you should give your bank details to.
How to verify any lender in two minutes
Take the NMLS ID, search it at nmlsconsumeraccess.org, and confirm three things: the legal name matches the website, the licence covers your state, and the status reads active. Then check the same company against your state regulator's own register.
Licences by state
Consumer lending is licensed state by state. The maximum amount, the rate cap, and the permitted term where you live are set by that state's small-loan or consumer-finance statute, not by us. Our published range of $200 to $5,000 over 3 to 24 months applies only within those limits.
